Bush Court

Bush Court is a large tower block built as part of a public housing project in the 1970s in Shepherds Bush, London. It is located on the south side of Shepherds Bush Green and falls just outside the Shepherd's Bush Conservation Area. Although built as public housing, a number of the flats are now privately owned and are regularly offered for sale to the public.
==History==
Like its sister towers, Woodford Court and Roseford Court, Bush Court was designed and built of steel and concrete in an unapologetically modern style by the then Labour-controlled Council. Bush Court was completed in 1974. It is 184 feet high and contains 112 housing units on 19 floors.〔(Roseford Court at www.skyscraper.com ) Retrieved March 2012〕
In May 2012 an unidentified man was filmed relieving himself in one of the public lifts in Bush Court. CCTV footage of the incident was uploaded to YouTube where it was viewed by over 15,000 people.〔(YouTube video ) Retrieved June 2012〕 At the same time, the link was publicised on the Shepherd's Bush Blog, under the caption "catch this animal", with a view to unmasking his identity.〔(Shepherd's Bush Blog 26 April 2006 ) Retrieved June 2012〕 The perpetrator was eventually revealed to be one Abdul Sobour Tanin, who, when visited by Council workers at his council flat, admitted the offense, saying that he was "drunk at the time". Hammersmith and Fulham Council decided that his activities amounted to a breach of the terms of his tenancy and issued his family with a notice to quit.〔Adam Courtney, Hammersmith and Fulham Chronicle, 8 June 2012, p.19〕
